Headings

Headings are used in both Word and the Information Partner to break up content visually (to make it easier to read) and structurally (to make it easier to organise).

Headings are numbered (1, 2, 3, etc) and arranged hierarchically according to their number (Heading 2 nests under a Heading 1 and so on).

Headings can be selected in Word by clicking on the appropriate Heading style in the Style Gallery area in the top ribbon in Word.

Headings can be selected in WordPress by clicking on the paragraph icon (“¶”) in the Gutenberg Block, selecting “Heading” from the drop-down list, and then selecting the appropriate heading number from the ribbon above the block.

The Information Partner automatically generates a chunk from each Heading 1 and the content that follows it up until (but not including) the next Heading 1 text.

Lower level Headings (H2, H3, H4, etc) are treated as ‘Sub-Chunks’.
