Chunk is the term we use to describe a manageable amount of meaningful, standalone, and reusable content.
A chunk is intended to be reusable – for compiling (and optionally customising) into various additional output formats (like posts, articles, case studies, training, etc).
A chunk consists of a Heading 1 (H1) and some body content.
The body content of a chunk can consist of text, graphics, embedded attachments or other embedded ‘web 2.0’ content (video, audio, blog posts, tweets, social media posts, etc).
A chunk may be a single sentence or paragraph or more, but should not ideally not exceed one page.
As a rule of thumb, a chunk should take between 1-5min for a reader or viewer to consume.
As a rule of thumb, a chunk of text should be less than 250 words.
